In the context of the transnational project „Home Away from Home“ the forumZFD and four other organisations developed a training guide which is now available in German and English. The guidebook is based on experiences from a seven-day workshop, which was designed and tested for 25 young women and men from five EU-countries.
The training focussed on the exchange of experiences in working with refugees, asylum seekers and migrants. Its main goal was to supply young people with knowledge and skills to work actively on integration inside their communities as well as to support national and European networks. Furthermore, the young attendees were able to learn about positive examples of integration in other communities.
This digital handbook is a collection of the various modules which were successfully used and positivly evaluated by the attendees. It aims to help other young people to find and develop uselful means to successfully integrate refugees, asylum seekers as well as migrants.
