Next to forumZFD’s focus on narratives, fragmentation is another key problem that we aim to address. The ongoing Israeli occupation of the Palestinian Territories has left people separated and divided, not only between the different segments of society but also within their own communities.

Our partners in the field of coalition building are challenging these divisions along the lines of gender, age, urban and rural areas, political denomination, ethnicity, religion, and status. When they organize themselves against all odds, they are faced with big questions and challenges. As facilitators, we accompany them in finding the right answers to these questions themselves. We do this by offering shared learning sessions, movement consultations, women leadership development, and dialogue facilitation.  In doing so, we open up spaces for self-reflection and exchange between like-minded grassroots organizations. Our goal is to make those willing to overcome divisions and fragmentation more effective in their work.
